Best Pubs in Texas

This place is lovely! It feels like I literally walked into a pub in the UK. I forgot I was in Arlington for a bit. The owner is a hoot, and very sweet. They are still adding detail to the inside and outside of the pub, but opened on Saturday the 13th for the FIFA tournament. Watched the England-Croatia game here and had a blast. Scotch egg was delicious, fish and chips were perfection, and atmosphere was amazing. Prices were typical for these days ($15 burger) and servers friendly. They had a limited menu for the World Cup games but it was still solid and service was good, especially considering how crowded it was. Burger was just OK but everything else was great. If you like fish and chips - this is the place! And the tater sauce - *chefs kiss*. The Londoner offers a cozy atmosphere, classic pub fare, and a great selection of drinks. Whether you're watching a match or meeting friends, it's a comfortable spot for great food, drinks, and conversation.

Went there to meet up with some World Cup volunteers. Service was excellent and food was honestly better than I expected as well. Chips n salsa may have hit the best. Had that(w/queso), wings some tater balls. Not bad drink prices either for a classic Old Fashioned. Will go again, especially for a football match!

Typical Pub atmosphere! Other than the music was a little too loud for my taste, the server was EXCELLENT, the portion size was PERFECT for lunchtime, the food was so EXCELLENT, I could NOT stop eating their fries....YUM!! I highly recommend stopping in and giving The Londoner Pub a chance to tantalize your taste buds.
